METALLICA & the Orion music festival Heavy Metal is one of my least-favorite genres...down there with Country music and Polka.
But my buddy is a big Metallica fan and has convinced me to agree to go with him to the Orion Music + More festival in Atlantic City later this month.
Two days in a field, surrounded by thousands of heavy metal peeps.
I agreed to go b/c at least it's something to tell the grandchildren one day.
Of course...if I live to tell the tale.
Any other Orgers into this or planning on going???

Nope. Saw them for the 10th time last week though. It was great, as always. They are playing the full black album the first night and the full Ride the lightning album the second night... so you should have a blast on the second night especially. Would love to see that. | |

The mosh pit at their show was by far more intense than the few I saw at the Metallica performance.
I'm glad I went. It was awesome.
