Tamia fans can expect a "beautiful surprise" next month.

The singer is releasing her fifth studio album Beautiful Surprise on July 31, according to UrbanBridgez.

The website reports that the disc features production from Salaam Remi, whose work includes music for Jazmine Sullivan, Amy Winehouse and Nas.

The first single from the album is the title track, "Beautiful Surprise," which Tamia shot a video for several weeks ago. The clip features the singer's husband, NBA veteran Grant Hill. The video is set to premiere on VH1 Soul, and Tamia and Grant are expected to introduce the clip on BET’s 106 & Park.

Tamia will kick off a tour in mid-July, with stops planned in big cities including Atlanta, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles, according to UrbanBridgez.

Saw her on tour with The Queen Project and it was great. There was suppose to be a CD out with them, but It never came out. She kills it live.

her videos never have anything to do with the song and are overly sexualized.

So is her idea of a comeback to release the same song she did in 1998?

I don't know about the new single sounding like So Into You.

Even if it was i'm okay with because it's good. Sometimes

trying to differentiate from what you are known for doesn't always

work. See Van Hunt's What were You Hoping For.

Didn't get to see her last night due to a storm. I hope she comes back and does another show soon. I would like to see her do that tour she did before It was great. The Queens Project tour. She was great on Good Day NY this morning.

I listened to the snippets last night on Amazon. I really like the

first two tracks on the album. I noticed that she did a different

version of Still on this album. I think i like the original version best.
