I don't know. this is a hard one for me. I have a lot of wonderful memories associated with "Tender Kisses". But, "Love Me", lyrically, has a bit more substance and she gives a stronger vocal performance. So, I guess I'd have to go with "Love Me". "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! "Tender Kisses" is excellent, but it's gotta be "Love Me." The former showed shows Tracie as an adolescent girl, but the latter framed her as a clear woman. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis | |

These are her two biggest R&B hits. "Tender Kisses" went to #1 then "Love Me" peaked at #2 (kept out of the top spot by Jodeci's "Come & Talk to Me"). I like both a lot. I was so bummed her career fizzled so quickly! She had the looks and voice to be around for a while, or so I thought...

She wasn't trashy enough. I think that's one of the reasons why her career fizzled after the second album. When her third album arrived, we already had Lil Kim and Beyonce.
