At least Jay Z was a good rapper back in the day and is still ok, at least Beyonce can sing and has some good songs. Not exactly my favourite artists, but decent.

Thats what some people say but Ive never been impressed with Wayne even before he got big.

There are too many other outlets for music other than the radio. I'm only 20, but I don't think there has ever been a time where so little variety was played on the radio. I remember one summer Frontin by Pharrell was played every 2 minutes. It's so annoying.

Thing is kids all pirate their music, so the record labels are screwed. Also Wanye is just a joke in the hiphop community, no one respects him they just love to laugh at all the stupid lines you can find in every release.
