Now that I have all of TTD's albums... I must now rate them...
1) Symphony or Damn...what can I say its getting better and better with each listen. There is not a bad track on here. Why, oh why, wasn't this a hit. 2) Hardline According To...Still awesome after all these years. I like it more now than when it came out. 3) Wildcard...thanks for this recomendation from all you TTD fans out there. A very good album. I know I'll be listening to this for a long time and will be discovering new things all the time. 4) Vibrator...I don't think its as good as some of you have said but I still haven't concentrated on it enough yet...maybe it will grow on me. 5) Neither Fish or Flesh...this one is FINALLY growing on me. I totally discarded it when it came out (to the point that I didn't listen to him again until about 2 months ago when I dusted off Hardline). It's a self-indulgent mess. But now I am starting to listen to the individual songs. Billy Don't Fall, This Side of Love, Attracted to You, Roly Poly are all top songs. ...any other opinions out there?

I honestly don't have a real preference. I have them all yet not one stands out as a favourite or a worst, I rate them all near enough equal. Very steady career...

I agree that they are all fantastic albums, but my absolute favourite has to be "Vibrator". It just gets better with every listen, it's such a diverse and tight album, it's my favourite album of all time (and I was not too impressed when it came out I must admit). If I had to choose I think "Wildcard" would be second, but that's a difficult choice as I also love "Symphony Or Damn", "Neither Fish.." and "Introducing...". And I also have to mention that there are also some brilliant non-album tracks like for example "A Change Is Gonna Come", "Perfumed Pavillion", "The Birth Of Maudie", "She's my Baby", etc. With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

TTD is the only artist that I prefer to Prince. If only he were a little more prolific...
Although I think left to his own devices I think he'd do album every 2 years. After all, there is an unreleased album from 1991, and 'Wildcard'/'Solar Return' was supposed to come out in the late 90's. My favourite TTD tracks are almost all non LP. The B-sides to 'Holding On To You' are amazing- 'Your Love Is Indecipherable' and 'Angels Fly Because' And 'Letting Go' from 'The Fan' soundtrack is wonderful. The Greatest Hits 2CD set is good too. A lot of non LP and soundtrack songs, such as 'Perfumed Pavillion'.
