Even some huge R. Kelly fans (including me) don't think he's innocent. I believe he messed with Aaliyah knowing she was underage. I don't know if he knew about the other girl but theres a 60% chance he did.

R Kelly was extremely silent in that interview to. He let Aaliyah do all the talking. But those interviewers had to be suspect about it. Then not long after the marriage license appeared. R Kelly put several hidden messages out that something was going on. If U read between the lines. I have to give it to him he is sllick. But not surprising he is from the streets & have street smarts.

But Aaliyah also lied about her real age to marry him & was not innocent herself. The R. I never understood why he married her that was stupid of him. But I guess he really loved her..It was kind of like Elvis loved Prissella. Who was underage when they started dating to. But noone never talks about...& Prince who fell in love with Mayte when she was underage. But he waited till she was legal to get the goods..
