Mayte Garcia (Prince's Ex) In New Reality TV Show Hollywood Exes Premieres June 27 On VH-1! Who Are The Cast Members?June 11, 2012 09:30 AM by Martha Zaborowski
Hollywood Exes, a new reality show from Vh1, will premiere Wednesday, June 27, at 10pm EST/9 pm CST. The show features exes of some very famous men, all of whom are in very different places of life with their exes. These women are not new acquaintances either—some have known each other even before their high-profile marriages. The show stars Mayte Garcia (Prince’s ex-wife), Nicole Murphy (Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife), Sheree Flether (Will Smith’s ex-wife), Jessica Canseco (Jose Canseco’s ex-wife), and Andrea Kelly (R. Kelly’s ex-wife). Who are the Hollywood Exes, and what are their bios?
Mayte Garcia: Mayte has remained unmarried since her divorce from Prince. She was once engaged to Tommy Lee and ended her engagement with Tommy Lee due to his desire to not have any more children. She lives with her Puerto Rican mother, 7 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 birds—and she desperately wants to add a baby to the mix. Mayte is an actress, dancer, and was once a judge on the reality TV show, Dance Your Ass Off.
Nicole Murphy: Nicole was married to Eddie Murphy for 13 years and has 5 children. Currently engaged to a retired professional football player, Michael Strahan, and with 2 grown children, Nicole is ready to start focusing on herself more and restarting her modeling career.
Sheree Fletcher: Sheree and Will Smith have a son who has recently turned 18, and the child support checks have stopped coming in. Life might be a little less “cushy” than she’s accustomed to, but she’s happily remarried to former professional football player-turned-pastor Terrell Fletcher (he heads a Interfaith Christian ministry, and Sheree is proud to be the First Lady).
Jessica Canseco: Newly single, Jessica Canseco is ready to mingle! Jessica is busy running her cosmetic and medical tattooing business in Beverly Hills and raising her 15-year-old daughter with Jose. She is adapting on how to play more of the ”mom” role and less of the “best friend” role to her teenage daughter.
Andrea Kelly: A classically trained dancer, Andrea was once R. Kelly’s choreographer and a prominently featured dancer. Out of all the ladies, she is the freshest out of her relationship. She still feels emotionally raw from her divorce, but she is ready to move on with her life and begin the next phase. What do you think of the exes of Hollywood Exes? Will you be watching this latest series from Vh1? http://realitytvmagazine....t-members/

I heard this on the radio and I AM ON IT!!!! I mean I will watch with much enthusiasm.
I mean come on...Jessica Canseco, Nicole Murphy and Mayte?!!!! U can't get any better.
You've got Nicole supposedly being broke now You've got Jessica with those rumors about Jose socking her in her face You've got Mayte with the cheating, the stuff about the baby and not getting paid right in her divorce
THIS GON' BE GOOD!!!! Providing these heffas spill the tea and not just stand there looking pretty.
I'm not feeling Andrea though, cuz we all know that wasn't a real marriage. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

In the short-term these women will get fame, attention, invitations to Hollywood functions like award shows, but in the long term these women will be thought in very unflattering terms. I wish Mayte the best, but I am so sick of these reality shows like Mob Wives, Basketball Wives etc. Now would be the perfect time for Eddie Murphy to do a comedy special i.e. "Raw" and wives reality shows and take it there. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR

12 years of marriage isn't 'real'? She had the longest marriage of all the other ladies so it was obviously real unlike the others that seem more like flings.

Will, Prince and Kellz probably have all their lawyers on speed dial so I doubt they will dish anything unless they want the show off air.

I won't watch this (I hate most reality shows),but hey...I guess Mayte's gotta make a living somehow.More power to her.

Naw it wasn't real. When you have an open marriage, you have nothing IMHO. That ninja been sidelining hos from the giddyup and its no secret he has always fancied the youngins. I don't even think I've heard RK publicly claim love for his wife. Eddie, Jose and Prince.....shux, they wouldn't shut up about their women when they were married and in love. Yes the love didn't last long but for its time, it was pretty powerful. Oh and wasn't Eddie married longer? I thought they had 14 years. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

It was indeed a real marriage but did Kellz respect it? No, he did act like a single man. BTW, he kept the marriage hidden to protect his family. He knows what he's doing. Eddie, Jose and Prince didn't seem serious with their women at all. Just because they couldn't shut up about their women doesn't mean it was powerful. Sometimes silence is better but at the end of the day most of these women's exes cheated on them and they were just made to be housewives. This show is pointless.

He kept his marriage hidden so he COULD act like a single man and for that reason, his marriage wasn't real. You can have a real marriage for 5 years or a fake one for 15. Its not the length of the union but how the spouses treated each other and how they respected or disrespected their vows for all the world to see. If you aren't respecting your marriage its because you have NO marriage. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

That's half true. He did keep it hidden to push the image of a bachelor to correlate with his music but he also kept it hidden to protect his family. Truth be told, if the media and general public were aware he was married and has kids then they would be scrutinized. He knew that. But to say their union wasn't 'real' is absurd. Every marriage has ups and downs.

You stannin' over here now?
All this "he kept his marriage hidden to protect his family" is utter CRAP! Nobody cared about him being married. What ho ever said "ya know...i better not ride that dick cuz it belongs to another chick" what dude ever said "ya know...R Kelly just aint that cool now that he got a wife and kids". NEVER AND NO HOW!!!! That ninja wanted to be a bachelor in the worst way and he didn't want wifey all up in his business trying to get him to act right and maintain a more positive public image. Plenty of men in the industry are married and it doesn't hurt their careers or their families e.g. Ice Cube been married forver, Snoop been married forever , even KCool's Will Smith been married forever. Look at Ralph Tresvant from NE or even that handsome ho Eric Benet. Often times being married helps a male artist's career and makes them more desirable.
How is the media not already scrutinizing Kelz? They've been doing it since he hooked up with Aaliyah (his first mistake) and they continue to do it. Yes I say their marraige wasn't real because he did what a lot of hos do....got married for pretense, for show, too look good to their immeidate family (remember Kelz grew up in the church) and for tax purposes.
RK been dirty, is dirty, always gonna be dirty. No amount of wedding rings, remakes, gospel joints and designer suits will change that. His dick stay wet! I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

I agree with hotGritz, but we all know that being married ruined Usher "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

He got ruined once he broke up with Chili. Man back then I never saw a couple so heavily rooted for and admired. Chili and Usher were the Bey/Jay of their time. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

You really don't know what you're talking about. Whether you like it or not, he did keep his marriage a secret to protect his family. This isn't about hoes or what industry insiders would have to say. It's about keeping people who aren't in the business away from the limelight. Understand? It's not that hard of a concept to grasp and what do all those other artists have to do with R. Kelly? Stop grasping for straws and if you think that if R. Kelly publicly discussed his marriage and family that it wouldn't hurt his career. You're a fool.
Again, I'm speaking about scrutinizing his FAMILY and KIDS. Why are you so hard-headed and always automatically jump to conclusions? I'm well aware that R. Kelly is scrutinized hence why I said he kept his family away from the spotlight and never discussed his personal life because they would be scrutinized too.
What do you mean he got married for pretense? How is it to look good when NO ONE knew he was married and has kids? You're contradicting yourself now. LMAO! He kept them AWAY from everyone and who cares if he grew in the church? That has nothing to do with him getting married and DEAD at getting married for tax purposes. What in the simple minded hell. He's a multimillionaire, not working a 9-to-5 like you.
R. Kelly is this, R. Kelly is that. Your hatred for him is pathetic. Please, seek help, biased clown. You talk like you know the man when really you don't know shit. Just another loser hunched over a computer talking BS about a celebrity.

It's the fact that Usher made his marriage public. That's what hurt him if he kept it away from the public like R. Kelly did and never discussed it then he wouldn't be in the position he is now.
I remember when Usher tried to close down his only fan site because they were teasing his ex-wife.
It's always important for an artist to keep their personal life away from the public. They have to maintain an image. Usher was always viewed as heartthrob until he got married. That hurt his career.

I think it was more WHO Usher married than him being married "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Oh please stop! Usher's marriage being public had nothing to do with its demise. You are delusional. He married the wrong woman. His mother didn't like Tameka, she was a twice divorced chick with 3 kids by different men and the woman wouldn't keep her mouth shut about Usher's fans and her marriage just like she's doing now. Usher's image could have remained the same, he would still be a heartthrob. That notion that pop stars/starletts can't be married is archaic and gone with the wind. Look at Prince, we loved him even more after he married Mayte. We've always loved him in a relationship because relationships are what humanize the stars and make them seem attainable. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

Okayy? And I have no ill feelings toward the chick because I know Usher is a snake but it doesn't change the fact that she is also a snake. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

There is so much in this comment. Where do I begin? I guess you are just old fashioned and naive and have never heard of people getting married to please their families or getting married for business reasons.
Look if you idolize the ninja then that's on you. You want to be constrained to a single thought: R Kelly is good and can do no wrong.
That's fine but maybe in time and after his next fuck up you will see the light.
Take care. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
