you know, i was sorta thinking the same thing the other day. i've never seen any of these 'madagascar' movies, but i was thinking about her and wondering if she wasn't married to will, would she have even been in line for these movies? the voice actors they get for these things are generally pretty high profile. when you think about 'shrek', you think of cameron diaz, mike myers, eddie murphy. is jada really in that category of actor? no, not really. so, yes, i can see some people seeing her as a d-lister who married well. sort of like katie holmes.

I think marrying Will is what held her back in Hollywood. She used to get movie roles way back when but it seemed to dry up. Hell Tyler Perry ain't cast her in one of his train wrecks even. I think her ship has sailed. she seemed content to take a back seat and help him further his career at the expense of her own. I guess Will's oldest son hasn't been bitten by the show biz bug. But Willow and Jayden are everywhere. I wonder why that is..

And Jayden can't act for shit, and I doubt Willow can act. Karate Kid was an embarassment. Taraj P. Henson (I think that's her name) is also a terrible actress, so that movie was a goddamn trainwreck. I'm mad I wasted my money on that shit.

I think she's an honest performer. If you want a real performance I don't think you can go wrong with her.

There are certainly worse movies lol. It's just that some parts are cringeworthy, like when he's crying about how he wants to go home or something. It just came across as extremely forced. I'm not a person to critique acting (music is my forte ), so when I can tell a terrible acting moment you KNOW the person sucks lol.

To be honest, y'all got a point. Before Jada got with Will, she was pretty much just a side actress trying to act all hard all the time. To me she plays the same character over and over again. Had she not married Will, would she had been called up to co-star in "The Best Man", "Love Jones" or most recently "Act like a Man"? Hmm, me thinks not. Shucks I remember when she was in that Tales from the Crypt movie with Billy Zane...and the main attraction even then wasn't even her, it was Billy Zane. At least that's the only reason why I watched it.
