With song titles like that, I feel like this would be the Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band of the Michael Jackson canon :O
hahah, i know right! a lot of michaels unreleased songs have really unique titles, which make me want to hear them even more! when do yall think the next album will be released.. obviously not 2012, because we are getting bad 25 , but possibly 2013 or 2014.. i wish they would put up a list on the MichaelJackson website and let the fans choose some of the songs for the next release, much like they did for the this is it setlist.. that would be cool.
I already can see the album art and album name. Captain EO's Intergalactic Posse. The artwork would be Michael Jackson from each era (Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, HIStory, and Invincible) standing in front of Michael Jackson's grave. Around him is the blackness of space, a spaceship and the moon. They are in a giant dome bubble with Neverland Ranch all around them... Oh my gosh... SONY PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
Purple is the color of my heart,
Bruised from you leaving me.
not sure if this was brought up yet, but i wonder if the Dont be Messin around that will be featured on cd 2 is the "beautiful ballad" that bruce swedien talks about.. the song was reworked from the thriller era, to the bad era.. and from my understanding the dangerous era.. just a thought
I'm sure the version on BAD 25 will be the version we already have. 1982 vocals with a 1987 mix.
I am dissapointed, only 5 songs. I'm happy abou the 5 songs, but could have been more. They wasted space wih Streetwalker, Fly Away and the foreign remixes.
Even if it was just 5 songs they could have all be UNRELEASED ones... Streetwalker and Fly Away have been previously released as bonuses and the remixes was just utter waste of time...
So I never knew MC Hammer's music video for "2 Legit 2 Quit" was all about MJ. I just saw the extended cut of this, with James Brown himself acting in it and wowza. It has me rolling. Hammer is one talented guy, and seeing James is great, but this video is a total trip. Check out the extended cut below. Wow wow wow!
I became a fan of MJ's as the single, "Who Is It" was released, right before Oprah and the Super-Bowl and the shit-storm of 93, but I don't remember this video. The biggest fued between MJ and Hammer I remember was Hammer challenging him to a dance-contest or something, and MJ didn't bother responding. I know Hammer always spoke postively about MJ during interviews before and after his death. (I remember around the time BOTDF came out, and again when Invincible came out, seeing him on TV, saying both times how he knew if a fan bought an MJ album, they would be getting a great album of tracks.)
That all being said..I'd love to hear thoughts about the video. (Seems kinda like a nod to Captain Eo and Rhythm Nation with the military still dance moves at the start.)
The pic looks like it was darkened somewhat. I saw this same picture but with a lighter view. Either way, that Invincible photoshoot has turned out to be one of my favorite photoshoots of MJ's.

I look back at Hammer with such fondness. His videos, especially this one, were always so fun to watch. He was so popular at one time, there were these polls when he was publicly challenging MJ and most of the polls had him easily beating MJ in a dance off. But then it was odd how because this album sold less than his prior album he was over.
Looking back, I would say his popularity during the 90's is very underrated. When this video was out, it was huge. Even now it's still one of the most expensive videos ever made.
Russia's INCREDIBLE synchronized swimming team didn't just blow away the judges with their gold medal-winning Michael Jackson routine this week -- they also left a lasting impression on one particular member of the Jackson family.
In case you missed it, the Russian team of Natalia Ischenko and Svetlana Romashina donned MJ-themed bathing suits and performed an amazing routine to the King of Pop's "They Don't Care About Us." The performance eventually helped them land the gold, over Spain.
Their routine was near-perfect -- but no one was more impressed than Michael's sister, La Toya Jackson, who tells TMZ, "I'm thankful for the honor that the Olympian swimmers paid to my brother Michael's memory."
She adds, "It is so wonderful to see how many global fans he has!"
Yes, global fans who look OUTSTANDING in bathing suits.
