Rapper Lil Phat, 19, shot and killed

WENN Rapper Lil Phat has been shot dead at the age of 19 in Atlanta, Ga. Bing: More on Lil Phat According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, police identified the rapper's body on Thursday evening. Lil Phat, real name Melvin Vernell III, was found in a parked car near Northside Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, reports GossipCop. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. A motive for the killing is unknown and police are searching for two men who were seen running from the scene. Lil Phat was previously signed to record label Trill Entertainment, which also once had Soulja Boy on its roster.

Sad but honestly......Violence, Shootings, possibly gang involvement in...Atlanta, not shocked, its funny how people talk about NYC having violence, really....NYC isnt even in the Top 20 for violence and shootings, gangs etc.. Sooo young I'm disturbed and scared by the brutality and overkill of the violence out there, that is a horrible image for his family to have to live with knowing the way he died. I know only GOD can heal during this time of mourning. Jeux Sans Frontiers | |
