Mixed feelings. It's fair to say he has shown respect to the original by not trying to tamper / rearrange it in anyway, but by the same token, he's not saying anything more than what was said when it was first released 32 years ago. Either way, you could argue that the song said it all back then and all Michael is doing is using it as a vehicle to make the statement again. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |
