Beatles US albums

Meet The Beatles! album artwork - USA

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I don't know about that. I like George Martin's instrumentals on the Hard Day's Night soundtrack. They're not on the British version.

A few of them were reissued a few years ago in 2 box sets.

I wasn't aware of the British albums until they were released on CD around 1987. I always saw the Capitol LPs. Later I found out that the group didn't like the US albums and that is why they did that "Butcher babies" cover photo. People complained about the picture and it was replaced with this photo, which wound up being one of the "Paul Is Dead" clues. The butcher cover became worth a lot of money. Not that long ago, the butcher cover was re-released on vinyl as a limited edition.
