HisTORIC recording! This is one of those first records that ushered in the "new" sound which embraced computer technology in the studio a la Kashif (also historic as a producer.) Evelyn's awesome voice didn't hurt any either. However, Kashif once said that her lower register (as heard on her "Call On Me" album) made him cringe because "she sounded like a man." Myself, I LOVE her lower register. It's SO DAMN SEXY!!! smile

Just saw Evelyn live last Thursday. The whole crowd went wild when she performed

this jam here. Evelyn will be 52 in July and she still be droppin it and poppin it

like its hot.
