Never cared much for this song, but hearing them on the same track proved once and all for me who the better singer was. I never understood how people could think Mariah was the better vocalist. Listening to this song, it's clear Whitney is the better and more powerful singer. At least to me. She totally upstages Mariah in this song as far as vocals go. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

Had this been recorded in 1994 Whitney would have melted Mariah's face off. By '98 Whitney's voice had changed, but she still did a great job and still out sang Mariah. The Oscar performance proves that.

I love Mariah Carey, I really do but Whitney still beat Mariah by a long shot on this song.

How much did Clive have to do with this? "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

This was one of those big,over-hyped "event singles" that failed to live up to expectations. While it was nice hearing both ladies on the same track, the song is a snoozefest.
