He doesn't get as much credit as he deserves, I'll put it like that.

I just listened to "Sweet Freedom" like two or three weeks ago. boxed

Plus he's really hot for an old dude. He looks like a sexy version of Santa Claus or something.

Of the thousand and one voices that have blessed Pop music, he is indeed a great one. He's the perfect accent to whomever's song he is on, whether its Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, Robbie Dupree and others. His catalogue is sadly missing from my collection but I have hundreds of CDs and DLs that I've yet to listen to, time to get to work.

His voice, yes. His material, no. I like some of his songs, but a lot of them are boring.

Which is a waste. I don't know why people with a voice like this always stay in their comfort zone.

Agreed. You could say the same thing regarding Rod Stewart over the last thirty years or so. They both possess great voices but waste their talent by recording average material.

nod Seal also comes to mind. Even Tina turner, although she did a lot, from Private Dancer it all was a bit the same. I would have loved to see her going experimental.

Is this a trick question or what? Of course Michael is a Living Legend. He's had 2 Careers. One with a Group and the other as a Solo artist.

He probably makes more money touring overseas than he ever could here in the states...

Oh, no.

You do McDonald a disservice with that. I've always thought Rod Stewart sounds like shit on a stick.

I think he is definitely one of the greats. I respect his background vocal appearances, stuff with the Doobies, and his own material as well. Can't be denied. He is a legend.

Sorry to disagree but no not at all. I've heard very little of his work and I don't understand him very well on the material I have heard, which is still boring even if his voice (which sounds like he's eating while attempting to sing) isn't on it.
