Big Hoops is irritating but it'll be around I think. That Nikki Minaj song about Starships is getting pretty big, and so is the Rihanna/Drake song.

Notice I didn't say they were great songs.

But "Mind Your Manners" reminds me of "Steal My Sunshine".

And "Big Hoops" is getting heavy airplay already at least in my area. Plus it's different ENOUGH to be considered a little edgy. It's got the typical Nelly swag.

Hell no. They aren't good songs and no one really knows who either of them are.

I love big hoop earrings (on Prince too lol ), but I'mma say no. I liked artsy fartsy, "I'm Like A Bird" Nelly Furtado, not this one too much. I do like the Native American dancing in the video.

Whatevs, you can all lick my left big toe. I LOVE that Chiddy Bang song. lol Those masks toward the end of the video remind me of the masks that Anonymous wears when they protest Scientology, except all painted like Mardi Gras and shit.

The Nelly Furtado one just sounds like everything else that's out there, though. sad

And I see all of your creations as one perfect complex
No one less beautiful
Or more special than the next

Kids of today, I implore you - turn on an oldies station (60s-70s) and discover MUSIC.

My favorite song of all time is Stardust - written by Hoagy Carmichael in 1927. (Nat King Cole did his recording - also my favorite - in 1957.)

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

The only quantifiers for jam of the summer is that it's fun, dumb and massive.

The dumb part of the equation is the only non-absolute but it doesn't hurt.
