THAT^ is what I've been saying in P&R for the last few times! nod The government is too involved in people's personal lives and I would prefer for marriage licenses to be done away with. The very fact that people need them as a way to get permission from a man-made government to get married is not true freedom or independence.

I say bravo to Jay. It's a big deal to have someone of his stature, especially in the largely homophobic hip hop community, to have our backs like that. Maybe now some of the bigots will follow suit.

Because hip-hop/rap has a history of being one of the most homophobic musical genres. And I like to see for myself how many rappers are finally ready to grow up.

Did anyone notice that he announced a concert a few days after this?

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
