Help me find this band

Few nights back i cathed a song on mtv .song is influenced by 80's ,it have a Phil Collins like gated snare drum sound.music is mid tempo synth pop but what strikes is that melody of the song is played by some exotic instruments and the melody have folklore elements althought the song itself is synth pop. Band members all have long hair and beards, the name of the band have two words in it's title.first letter is either C or K. And i think they were ,are active in the '00s.

You really gotta be more descriptive than that.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I live in Serbia. Well the music is pop synth pop and what is charactersistic that beside regular instrumentation they use exotic instruments and that song have a folkish lead line but the instrumentation is played by regular instruments,it have gated snare sound. All band members have long hair and beards and the band was active starting from the early to mid 2000 up to date.song is very characteristic because of folk details

hey this is cool, thank you for sharing. But it's not it.

The production is much more modern

and up to date but with retro touches,

you can hear a prominent gated snare so charactersistic for the 80's ( drum sound of Born in the Usa by Bruce Springsteen or Fresh by Kool and the Gang).

the song i heard is a very recent song maybe recorded

between 2008-2012 .

But that drum sound is not so prominent because the song is full of reverbation.

it starts mellow then that folkish melody (maybe some Irish melody?) kicks in

followed by anathemic chorus.

It's a very good song ,it's played on regular

instruments like synths,bass,drum machine

but the thing that is so distinctive is the lead line played on some exotic instruments.

i catched the song by accident

playlist was Justin B.-GirlFriend

followed by some cool song by Orbital

Madonna -Girl Gone Wild

Air-Don't Be Light and

somewhre between that song come in.

i remembered the name of the band and search Wikipedia for info

about the band.

in the category of the genres they play was synth pop rock disco and others genres

it also said theey are characteristic for

the use of instruments

i

never heard of really and im a musician.

i forgot the name of the band but i do remember

the band name have 2 words

and the first word starts with either C or K and maybe the

second word is Family, but im not so sure about that.

I also rember that the band had releases in 2005,2007 and 2010 .

That song is maybe a hit but it's not cheesy it have some

level of sophistication

and the band members are all males with long hairs sporting beards.
