Yeah, I dig his music. Honestly, for the first time in a while I can say I'm genuinely excited about the future of mainstream R&B.
If they do it right, mainstream R&B will rise again. For now I'd stick with the underground. Just don't fall for the okey dokes and he should be cool...

Yeah, those are the three I was referring too. Their fanbases seem to keep growing and the buzz getting bigger. This could mean something for R&B.
Yeah and the best thing about it is you can tell they ain't faking the funk with their shit.
Yeah, they ain't like them other cats who switch form Europop to R&B just to milk the money cow for all it's work. They got the real deal when it comes to their music.

The Weeknd, Frank Ocean and Miguel are really impressive so far. I can't say the same for the others.
Out of the three The Weeknd, There pretty good.
Im not really that impressed with Miguel his music sounds just like everyone elses.... This Frank Ocean song is okay, Im not that moved by it but to each is own. I exactly think the Cold Play version is better

Listen to Novacane by Frank Ocean.
I checked that out and I think that song is okay to The video was kinda cool though
The only song I like by him is "Thinking About You" he reminds me of Miguel, Trey or Drake with that generic sound and I dont like that and am turned off by it, I dont think he is all that good of a singer either he sings like Drake (from the songs Ive listened to) but to each is own, if u guys like him go for it

Out of the three I prefer The Weeknd but Miguel has seriously stepped it up recently. He doesn't sound like the others tbh. But it's subjective.
Frank Ocean is the future of RnB. The guy is a legend in the making. I can't stop listening to his Lonny Breaux collection, some serious outstanding songs on it.
Oh and The Weeknd sucks imo.
