I remember when I listened to the Chicago Transit Authority album for the first time and heard those lines he played on the above tune, I thought this is someone to pay attention to.


I sense that one of the reasons they got Bill Champlin was to get close to his vocal timbre.

They had a TV special called Chicago In The Rockies and they played behind Al Green for a couple of songs.
