Girl you know I got you. I said the same thing, why would Steve Harvey be his first live interview in like 12 years. Oh well, it's something.

To be honest, I think his team in the US is approaching his comeback WRONG. First Essence and now this.

I agree. Essence is a bad choice. And like you said before, his first interview shoud've been print or something. A radio show, I don't really think is the right place, especially with him being gone so long.

I would've hoped this time around he would've been more in control of his career, especially after the whole untitled fiasco, which was due to wrong guidance by management.

I just, I mean, his head may not still be in the right place. He needs to stay his ass in Europe a while longer. HE should have held out for rolling stone or EW, but most likely, I would hope those interviews are in place.

I just smell desperation.

I would hope 12 years was enough time to get it together. If he held out this long to create a new album, surely, he can call the shots in his career. If he's not there mentally, or confidence wise, then I don't care what he puts out and how good the music is, corporate and commerical interest are going to win.

Well, we still have no idea if that album will drop. He was fine in Europe, but the US is a different ball game. People are gonna go IN on him and I don't know if he can take it. So I'm assuming the interview will be EST at what time, exactly, do you know?

I only know that the show runs from 6-10 eastern time. I don't know what time he'll be on there maybe like 8 or 8:30. And yes the usa is harsh. people have already been saying harsh stuff based upon the europe videos. if he was hurt because people thought he looked good, he definitely doesn't want to see some of the stuff people say about how he looks now. I wished people could just hear the music and let it be. But it doesn't work like that. Which leads me to wonder, he has to have an image. What is that going to be?

He might be ok, point is this is D, not some run of the mill artist. He needs to be handled differently. His management is dropping the ball and I don't like to think of what's gonna happen next, cause so far, their moves to reestablish D in the States are NOT impressive.

Steve Harvey sticks to the music and artistic talk. His not going to bombard D with gossip questions or anything like that. I think it will exactly be good promotion for him. Steve Harvey usually plays the artists music he has on his shows the entire time... When MJ was on there he played like 5 songs back to back lol

I don't know if I missed the mini-interview or if it didn't/won't happen. I just hope that I didn't listen to Steve Harvey speak in vain, because that was hard.

and since when where you or any of you hired to be on his management, public relations, street team?

he has to be reintroduced into the market by any means neccessary since he no music out right now.

Getxxxx, we can all say what we think. There are more prestigious avenues, ESP for an artist of D's caliber.

I don't know what happened. Maybe he cancelled, or maybe his management team heeded script girl's advice, because even on steve harvey's website it said he should've been on there. http://www.steveharvey.co...Itemid=161
