But Mury belittled his kids & i read that he kicked Brian & Mike out of the band many times for crying under pressure & that real men don't cry if they want to make it or some bullshit. And he had that way of thinking throughout the recordings.

But joe & Murry had one thing in common.. failed musicians who tried to live through there kids. damn shame

My vote goes to Joseph Jackson. Michael has the most verbal abuses, but poor Marion had THE most whippings.

i saw a little of the beach boys mini series a few years back and i remember a few scenes with murry showed a really fucked up guy. brian wilson has had a couple of mental breakdowns in his life, and i believe that he, like mj, has spoken about his tribulations with his father.

i didn't know that murry was also a wannabe musician like joe; that could explain a lot.

You can tell by looking at the kids... Each of whom, are fame-obsessed.

The only one who strikes me as remotely different (only as they have got older) is perhaps Janet, Randy and maybe Reebie.

He really has funny coloured eyes. Usually green/hazel eyes on black people look exotic and attractive but with him they just look scary.

He look like his daddy actually. Papa Jackson (Samuel) had the same hazel eyes as Papa Joe.

Lawrence Hilton Jacobs did a great job portraying Joe Jackson.

That being said, even if a fraction of what is said or "known" of him is true, in the music industry it's Joseph.
