i have a handful of there ''hits'' & i have heard a good part of there Strangers In The Night album. On That Metal Show, Eddie Trunk dick rides UFO & Michael Schenker is one of those guitarists a lot of metal heads always put UFO & Mike as legends in the game. The stuff i have heard... it's good imo but that's it. I mean i don't see anything amazing in the 15 or so songs i heard from them...

Any who they have alot of albums but i'm iffy, anywho heard there albums? do you think it's worth it?

For most people a single disc compilation is probably all of the UFO they will ever need. They were a fairly mediocre band with a great guitarist but their songs are fairly average. Really the primary reason to check them out is to hear Michael Schenker play. After he left they really descended into mediocrity and weren't really worth hearing. If you are interested in their prime years there is a great, and cheap, box set that collects their seventies recordings. It is five discs and is listed at around forty dollars but on amazon you can find new copies for less than twenty dollars, at that price I think it is worth it:

If you dig UFO you may also want to check out MSG (Michael Schenker Group). They had a few decent songs but suffered from the same problem as UFO (great guitarist, so-so songs).

Co-sign with everything rialb said. "Strangers" and "Force It" are the 2 best CD's by them. If you want to hear better stuff then get a comp. of Micheal Schenker's solo work.

I think the only reason why Eddie Trunk jocks UFO is because Gene and Paul don't want anything to do with him. KISS was his band and now UFO has taken that spot.
