New Tom Browne Interview http://www.soulmusic.com/...p;ART=2429
I have several of his CDs but I don't think I've ever read any interviews with him. Very interesting how he talks about his struggles with trying to be an R&B artist when he was really a Jazz artist and his frustration with Arista pressuring him into doing the more sexually explict music like Marvin Gaye and the Isleys were doing at that time.
Here's one of the songs he was not too thrilled about:
"It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley
"The only true wisdom is knowing you know nothing." - Socrates

I always respected Tom as much for his Jazz chops as the funk/R&B material. Exceptional player. Funk Is It's Own Reward

Great interview to read. I had to laugh when he mentioned that his wife didn't allow Thighs High to be played because of the reactions from women.
