Leaves you nervous and shakin

Thinkin bout lives that you've taken
All the love you've forsaken

That is always good to hear. It took me a while, as it was never really the type of music that I listened to, but once Worldwide Underground came out I was hooked. Musically she is so interesting, I regard her as more of a funk artist than anything else really, and that voice!

If you ever get the chance to see her live...please do so. I have seen her twice now and i'm about to go to my third Badu show at the end of June. She really is quite a magic performer and her band are tighter than a ducks arse.

That whole Worldwide Underground release is badass and extremely underrated in her canon. She let go of the incense and put her foot in the funk bottom on this one imo.
