I won't lie, i can get down with some of his songs
If people get passed the rick rolling etc. He actually has a pretty badass voice imo Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I didn't like Stock Aitken Waterman stuff, but I liked Rick's songs that used to get played on the radio. I'm not familiar with his albums. He used to get a lot of play back in the late 1980's. I bought a maxi single called Criminal Heart around 1988, which mixed Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal & Rick's Take Me To Your Heart together. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
