The Isley Brothers ft. R. Kelly - What Would You Do pt. 2

One of the better songs on that CD.

Oh shit lol

I am always mixed about that album, i love Kells but it had TO much of him in it. I Mean the lyrics, the sound, it was all very Kells and not enough of the brothers. But i do like this song & busted... damn i love that video! Kelly just would not stop fucking with Mr. Big's girls lol

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

That's partially why I was turned off to most of the album. I preferred Baby Makin' Music over it but yeah you can't deny this song's got a groove in it. I think the problem with the album was that it sounded too much like a Kels album and not an Isleys record. Maybe that's why Ron stopped working with him before he was convicted. They did only one song on Baby Makin' Music and I guess Ron and him retired the Mr. Biggs character then.

Well, to be fair. The Mr. Bigs thing was funny but it got a little old... i mean how many times can RRRRRRRRRUH cheat on one of his girls and he throws a fit & yada yada lol

That's why I got tired too. I know in the back of his mind even Ron Isley was like "I can't keep doing this, I'm gonna be 70 soon..." so that's why the character retired and he reassumed himself as "Mr. Isley" (or "Mr. I" rolleyes lol ). But hell his post-Mr. Biggs stuff wasn't bad anyways.

At first I thought he sold out but then I realized he just got old that's all. That's what old folks do, they can't throwdown any more like they used to so they convert to slow to midtempo stuff only because jams will fuck with their pacemaker. Lucky for him, theres a whole lot of the new generation that got old decades before their time so he fits in well with them and can still make money doing what his old ass is capable of these days. evillol

I see you didn't get Body Kiss or maybe if you did, your copy didn't have it. lol

I actually did like the Showdown songs they did. Though Kels named the Ron one "Showdown Vol. 1". neutral lol Chocolate Factory came out way before Body Kiss did. I get they were probably recorded around the same time but it's still odd.

My favorite Body Kiss cuts were these:

----

And "I Want That" but apparently it's deleted. I still can't stand "I Like". neutral Why Kels included it on Body Kiss I'll never get. The title track would've been better without Kim. shrug "Superstar" was cool but fit more of where Kels was going than Ron Isley...

Like I said Body Kiss was more of a Kels album than Ron Isley's or Isley Brothers for that matter.
