Everytime someone makes a general comment you always assume its regarding EVERYONE. Of course their are some kids that have been exposed to older music but 90 perent of most teens and children havent been exposed to Marvin Gaye, Prince, Supremes etc.. this isnt based on opinion, its a fact. And Im willing to bet if they were exposed to older music OR NON COMMERCIAL CURRENT music their music selection and perspective would be different because it would be BROADER. Most kids wouldnt even know who they are and dont. Or are you implying the average 10 -15 year old could name 5 Prince songs or Janalle Monae songs or even know who they are????

To be fair to Timmy, he commented on this new band i like Death Grips thread. And even had a discussion with me on it, and he has commented on a lot of smooth & me's posts. I'm guility of sometimes going in the Bey & Katy threads but i usually try not to comment
