Not bad wink Good to see some JP love! Priest was probably one of my first favorite bands ever.

Chil Peppers, Halen, Sabbath, Prince, Bowie, Aerosmith, GNR, Hendrix, NIN, Metallica, Young & Nirvana are favorites of mine as well. I like Tori Amos but i only have 2 of her albums confused & I love the Foo Fighters a lot to & have almost every album... but eh idk if there a fav exactly.

Either way good list thumbs up!

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I love some of those artists too, though more on a casual basis. And I keep saying I want to get into the others on your list but keep forgetting.

I like any list with a lot of diversity. Yours is quite diverse, with artists like MJ and Tori Amos on the same list as a bunch of hard rock and metal bands..

though MJ, Prince, Nirvana and RHCP are the only ones that would make my personal top 20.. I'm usually not a big fan of bands; I prefer solo artists. And I've never heard of Bumblefoot..

Random order?? Why's that? Just personal taste and the order reflects the music that speaks to me the most, that's all.

It's interesting that someone who starts with MJ continues with hard rock.

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

I tried with The Beatles, but it just didn't grab me. I liked some of their stuff, but nothing really moved me.

I refuse to force myself to like something just because everyone else seems to.

The list is nice but some people I (personally) would place AS high but still deserving to be on a list... Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye should be some where in top 10 in my opinion but I guess Rock needs to get love to which it never does.. interesting list nonetheless!

I was surprised that with all that great rock and guitar work, neither Queen or Santana was there.

I have a few Santana CDs. I love the early albums, not so fussed on the more recent stuff though.

As for Queen, I do love some of the classics, like Bohemian Rhapsody, Don't Stop Me Now, Under Pressure and Innuendo... but for some reason I never felt motivated to explore their albums.

I like that you're able to say they have some good songs, but you don't love them.. most people either think they have to be the greatest band ever, or total garbage.
