Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Dating. Publicity Stunt?

So its all over the news now about KW & KK hooking up. Kanye even recorded a new song proclaiming his love her her. Is this a real relationship between two people in love or a calculated PR stunt by two media whores?

Sources tell us the relationship is "just starting." The two were photographed on their way out of a movie date to see "Hunger Games" in NYC last night (above).

Apparently, Kanye has been after Kim for a while -- he just released a new song, "Theraflu" ... in which he says he had feelings for the reality star while she was dating Kris Humphries.

"And I admit I fell in love with Kim ... 'Round the same time she fell in love with him ... That's cool, babygirl, do your thing ... Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team."

Kanye is referring to Jay Z -- who owns the NJ Nets ... the team Humphries plays for.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just wrapped up date #2 in NYC -- eating lunch at the swanky Serafina restaurant on the UES ... and it caused MAYHEM in the streets.

The pair just left the restaurant in a flash -- hopping straight into an idling car -- and they were swarmed by the biggest army of photographers we've seen in a long time.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian eat lunch.The car then sped off -- taking the couple to the legendary toy store FAO Schwarz.

K & K have been romantically linked for years -- but TMZ broke the story this morning ... the pair is finally taking a stab at a public relationship, hitting up the movies last night for a real date.

Kim's worth an estimated $35 million ... Kanye an estimated $80 million -- so when a couple like that grabs lunch ... who pays?

Kim Kardashian is ALREADY talking about her blossoming relationship with Kanye West ... telling the "Today" show she's a big fan of his new song ... even though he rips her ex-husband. .

A smiley, happy Kim sat down with Ann Curry this morning ... and took on question after question about her new hook-up ... to which Kim replied, "I completely respect and understand you have to ask these questions."

Kim then explained she's been friends with Kanye for years and is excited for what the future holds for them.

Ann also asked about Kanye's new song, "Theraflu" ... the one in which he professes his love for Kim and says he could've had Kris Humphries kicked off the NJ Nets.

Speaking of Kris ... Kim told Ann she doesn't want to talk about him anymore ... saying, "I have closed that chapter ... I'm just really ready to move on."

I was wondering when this was finally going to pop up on the org. I contemplated posting it myself, but I figured most orgers are trying to ignore this lol

Of course its a publicity stunt. Kim is not that desperate but she is one helluva media ho and knows how to play the game.

Another way to tell this is a publicity stunt, aside from the timing and upcoming projects these two twits have, is that Kim said she's known Kanye for years and years but its just this past year and a half that we've even seen the two together. I don't even think Kanye came to her wack ass wedding or the wedding of her sister Khloe.

Lastly, doesn't Kim prefer dumb jocks? Easier to manipulate.

I think live Hewitt is much more low profile in her dating plus no one really pays attention to her in a decade.
