In 2001,I actually saw Earth Wind and Fire along with Rufus and Chaka Khan. They were touring together on the "Cool Blue September" Tour.EW&F are currently planning a summer tour,I hope they include another great act on the bill.

LaBelle!!! Why won't these ladies come together? I'd love to witness their tight harmonies LIVE!!! (Maybe they could wear the space suits during a set, for old times sake. biggrin)

I'd also pay to see Slave (feat. Steve Arrington), Crown Heights Affair, and Hamilton Bohannon on the same bill.

The Gap Band never ever disappoints me. Rick and Teena are actually talking about touring together. I'm glad that The Brothers Johnson are back speaking to each other again. I missed that show when they came to Chicago. Dammit.

The Brothers Johnson was pure magic from the second they hit the stage. I actually had goose bumps wacthing that show. They were so funky, they had a 60 something white usher dancin lol That was the funniest shit I had seen in a long time. The Gap Band was good but the problem was they followed The Time. Morris and Co sucked all the life out of the crowd with hottest performence I had seen from them since 83. I didn't help that the show got started late and the Gap Band was finishing up around 12:30am but you should never have to follow The Time.

The Brothers Johnson! Cool! I didn't know they still performed. I'd pay to hear Thunder Thumbs and Lightening Licks play "Strawberry Letter #23", or "Ain't We Funkin' Now", or "Land of Ladies", etc. smile
