Heart's New Career-Spanning Box Set
April 25, 2012
Ann and Nancy Wilson have revealed the track listing for Heart's Strange Euphoria box set, which will be released June 5, including more than 50 tracks across four CDs and a DVD.
The fourth CD, titled Heart Zeppish, contains five of the band's trademark Led Zeppelin covers and is available exclusively on Amazon.com, which is offering pre-ordering of the set.
The set includes several rare live or demo versions of their classics as well as unreleased studio recordings.
One of the highlights is a live version of Heart's 1985 hit ‘Never’ featuring former Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones. You'll also hear tracks from Ann's pre-Heart group Ann Wilson & The Daybreaks and the sister's Lovemongers side project.
The complete Strange Euphoria track list is as follows:
Disc 1:
'Through Eyes And Glass' (by Ann Wilson & The Daybreaks)
Disc 2:
DVD of rare 1976 television performance.

I read they are realsly dismissive about their first 3 Capitol albums now LOL, shame as I think they are good AOR albums. Even "Brigade" still had some good tracks, and rocked harder then the other 2.
"Under the sky" is on their as a demo though, aswell as the obvious "these dreams" and "alone" and a few others, but no "All I wanna do is make love to you" LOL.

I've heard that All I wanna do was the end for them , it was done for the charts but they have no attachment to alot of the 80's Capitol stuff. I love Brigade the most of the Capitol stuff, even though That was the cd that brought out alot of ugliness in the band. This box is long overdue "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

"All I wanna do" was mutt lange, but oddly he didn't produce it, which was a shame as the production on that track is kinda average. You know Robert would of make that track abit more exciting. It's still a catchy song though.

it was their last huge hit, and i think it left a bad taste in their mouth, the issues that came up on the brigade tour were Mark Andes and Denny Carmassi wanting Ann to lose weight because it was hurting the band, well that got them fired "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
