Beautiful! Do you have any Janet stories you would like to share? I went to her concerts last year but didn't get to meet her...

I remember while In high school going on a field trip into the city (Boston) we were all supposed to stick together but some of us drifted off and wanted to see the city. We didnt care about the 'Museum if Science', lol. So we found this 4 floor building called 'Strawberries' it was a music store. We went inside and a friend of mine pulled out these 2 singles from Janet 'Nasty' and "What have you done for me lately'. They were the 12" singles. I asked him 'what were they?' and he explained how they were extended version of the songs. This is all before I really got into music. Anyhow, that day when we got home I went to his house to hear the records. I fell in love. Sometime later the song WHYDFML came on the overhead radio at school and there I was dancing down the hallway to my next class. lol, I can still see this clear as day. My friend said to me 'How much do you like Janet?' I was like A LOT. he was like then come to my house after school. So I did. His father was a radio personality for a station in Boston called KISS 108. Janet was heading there for an interview that night and thats where I got to meet her for the first time. My friend tried so hard to keep it as a surprise but his father didnt know I didnt already know and mentioned it on the way 'So you boys excited to see janet'? Thats when I lost it. I was like janet who? lol. He popped in the cassette and we listened to Control the whole way there. I didnt have anything to sign for her at the time but I did eventually get this some years later.

The day MJ passed away, I put my BAD poster in a frame and walked around my city. Hundreds of people signed it with RIP notes. Its also signed on the back of the frame too. Completely covered front & back. Its now hanging up in my house. I also ended up in the newspaper because of this.

My uncle is generous, but I didn't know he knew the radio personaity a few blocks away from his work who interviewed Janet durig All For You. I wish he imposed on him and set up a meeting like that, though a friend of mine pulled strings during Rock Witchu and got us both a special VIP package and I ended up briefly talking to her after a group of us selected posed and I called out I loved her and she turned back to talk to me, but I got speechless
