Santigold - Master of My Make Believe - free first listen

Santigold is back! A free "first listen" of her new album Master of My Make Believe is available here: http://www.npr.org/2012/0...ke-believe

It's good but not as great as her first album. "Big Mouth" is my favorite track but it's been out for awhile. Overall, I'm like, hmm, yeah, it's alright.

And "Look at These Hoes" -- what's up with the lyrics on that one? It sounds straight Nicki Minaj, where I was thinking it'd be the opposite, namely a critique of that female brand of misogyny. I gotta question that one.

dancerella	I'm planning on getting this album but I think I have low expectations. I really like her but sometimes her songs are hit or miss.

Thanks for the post. I actually thinks its pretty great. I really like This Isnt Our Parade, Disparate Youth, Riot Gone and The Keepers. At times this CD has shades of Res' sound which is cool.
