I remember when they were really big in the mid-2000s. I also remember not being able to stand the emo grimdark sound of the music either. Back to life was ok for me. | |

I used to love this album, they where IT when i was like 12, 13. But i & a lot of other people overplayed there music way to much. I still like Evanescence but i can only tak them in small doses. Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

This song is so beautiful, they had so many good songs with good lyrics, hooks and vocals, but their emo image was so commercialized and may have overshadowed their talent.
If you like Evanescence you should check out Within Temptation (they have a similar sound but were around before Evanescence) and Nightwish [Edited 4/27/12 20:34pm] | |
