Radiohead kicks off 2012 tour

Radiohead kicked off their tour a couple of days ago in Miami. Anyone going in the US? They already performed 30 different songs, including two completely new.

Must say, I love 'Identikit' from what you can hear from the so-so recordings out. Hope that one will be out in official quality soon!

Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

Sounds good as usual. Their material transfers so well in the live arena. My fav 'rock' band of the past 20.

I'm a huge Prince fan, but I'm also a huge Radiohead fan. I know that Radiohead hasn't been around as long as Prince, nor have they released the volume of material Prince has. However, as a group like Radiohead continues to evolve and move forward, Prince seems stuck. On every Radiohead record, they experiment with new sounds and textures, whereas with Prince, his music sounds stale and dated. He's a helluva live performer, but so is Radiohead. I recently went to a Radiohead show and it was amazing. I love them both, but it just seems like Prince is becoming a novelty act.

I have always wanted to like Radiohead. I have a friend who is a big Radiohead fan so I hear them a lot and I think musically they are very very good, but I just don't really like Thom's vocals. They are too whiny for my liking. I went to see them live in the late 90's and they were great, but again, Thom's whine just drilled through me and stopped it from being amazing.

If they played near me I would probably attend though.
