My title may be misleading. Don't think E-40 tried to have him killed, but his goons heard he didn't like what BIG said about him.

E-40 is a real dude. I remember when he nearly beat the living shit out of Mac Minister at the Source Awards in 2000. And Mac Minister wasn't just some chump either, he was really killer. He's in jail right now for killing a guy who killed Mac Dre.

As far as the Source Awards incident, 40 didn't start that fight. Mac Minister approached him, got all in his face and tried to snactch off is chain. E-40 issued an public apology to the Source and everybody for what happened. He's never even bragged about the incident. E-40's a pretty positive guy, he's never been a troublemaker, but he ain't to be disrespected.

Yeah I never known E-40 to be engaging in tomfoolery. The guy is also a great investor too. He makes a lot of bank out of other things he's doing. I'm sure he gets paid off his publishing too since he's been independent all his career. I wouldn't fuck with him either.
