See the thing with Common was that, he didn't even pursue her, she pursued him and basically told him that he was her man. Then after that, he fell all over himself, pleasing her every chance he got, which resulted in him losing himself and his identity in her....which was obvious from a fan's point of view when he started wearing them mixed matched pajama outfits and sandals. After a while she took advantage of that, got bored with him and eventually started seeing The DOC while she was still with Common and ended up breaking up with Common over the phone. Fucked up.
