Im glad she never worked with prissypants, he would have taken away all of her style and have her sing lame r&b lyrics to some snippet of 80's rejected shit from the vault.

Heheheh - when did presenting a well mannered argument that, okay, was contrary to popular opinion yet contextual become the definition of "trolling"?
As usual, when nobody can engage in serious discussion around here, they fall back on the "I can't or won't engage with him seriously: he's trolling" argument.
Grow up, dudes!

Why are you guys fighting me? I mean, all I'm saying is that what you are really saying is that you love her talent because only a crazy person* loves people or misses those they have never met.
*Look up the word "fan" and "fanatic."

Because your disrespectful
Im not even a big fan but I do like some of her music. Your comments are overly disrespectful and not sympathetic to fans that want to remember her but then again this is PRINCE.ORG thats like asking for to much to ask for someone to act like they have some sense.

You are a well known troll. You just say silly things to get attention.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Ah.
So it seems that you are implicitly agree with me or are starting to see the silliness in stating that you love someone you really don't know. Your problem is in my method of informing you that you are being silly.
The thing is, I don't have sympathy for Amy Winehouse or Amy Winehouses's fans. I have sympathy for her parents, family and loved ones.

I don't care if Jesus Christ himself thinks I'm a troll; I always back up my posts with meticulously argued points. Your problem is that you simply don't like what I'm saying and do not have the wherewithal to counter my argument.
And you took my statement "The bitch is dead: get over it" completely out of context because I said immediately after that to:
Honor her by abstracting a lesson from how she choose to live her life and by listening to her music: her legacy lives on.
Stop being silly and focusing on my use of the word "bitch" to refer to Winehouse and focus on what I'm saying - you can't love her because you didn't know her. You can't miss her because her music lives on. And if you think long and hard about it, the only reason why you think you love her and think you miss is because she was a good singer - but she was much more than that. You don't know that because You.Did.Not.Know.Her.
If you don't believe me, ask her mom and dad, who knew her as more than a singer; she was their daughter.

She had great talent. I recently heard her do the Beatles song All My Lovin and it was so cute. It made me cry a little but life goes on. Check that version if you've missed it. That one and the Specials cover You're Wondering Now are very eerie but beautiful considering how her life played out. She can join Bradley Nowell, Kurt Cobain, MJ, Whitney, Billie Holiday and all those other beautiful souls out in the sky.

can't see what all the fuss was about amy, here in england druggies like her are reviled, nobody wants them living next door thats for sure, but because she made a few vastly over-rated pop songs theyre holding candle-lit vigils and making shrines in her honour, crazy!

Wow, the bitch is dead? Since the Mod's snipe out words that are offensive maybe they should make an effort and try to be consistent... for a change.
THIS IS A MUSIC forum. If you are going to "go off" just because some said they miss a particular artist, you should seriously consider deleting your account.

I find it funny how people on these forums are always like, "Who cares?" ...Well shit, obviously you do. Why would you set up an account?

I report most of them. | |

Exactly! Amy had more talent in her baby finger than most current female artists out there today. She could sing (although, I agree her voice was far from perfect), but she knew how to deliver a song and how to write great lyrics.
I miss her very much. I was fortunate to have discovered her early on and I will miss hearing new music from her. No doubt about that.

Report me - they know where to find me. Ben's a level headed guy anyways and will see that my use of the word "bitch" is being taken out of context. But I love how I can be called an idiot and dumb, two words that are just as offensive, and nobody cares or will say anything about that!
Have a good day, guys!
