Following the success of her collaboration with Brandy, Monica preps her seventh album for release on April 10th.

Monica has revealed the track list for her upcoming seventh studio album New Life, releasing April 10th via RCA Records.

For the project, the R&B singer enlists Brandy for first single "It All Belongs to Me," also nabbing a guest feature from Wale on the cut "Take a Chance."

I hope there's something on there as good as "Sideline Ho."

Anybody digging this? I really wanted to but I can't find not even one remotely interesting track on the entire album. And a lot of it sounds like, I don't know, maybe they were using auto-tune lite? Her voice just seems distorted on many of the songs. So far, I think this is her worst album.

I tried listening on Spotify and it's so boring. she used too many ballads this go round.

Im disappointed with this album. Just a BIG OL' SNOOZE!

I always root for MO' but this time around she missed the mark. Makings of you and the japanese release All eyez on me are my all time favorites from her.

"Daddy's Good Girl" begs repeated listening. "Breathe" isn't so bad either. The problem is the material lacks spark, and I lost interest way before reaching the final song.

I don't know. Whoever it is, Monica need to sever her ties with him for the next disc. I thought with a new label, she was going to come out strong. Every song on the disc sounds like 99% of the crap that's being played on the radio. Nothing with substance, nothing catchy, no grooves. Just auto-tunish vocals and recycled, computerized drum beats. It will probably be a big hit with the tweens, tho.

I think Rico Love was in charge of most of the songs. I also think the album isn't so well because Monica has been shifted to RCA and I don't think they really know how to deal with an artist that specializes in music that isn't under the umbrella of pop.

New Life has absolutely no buzz behind it. It's projected to sell a dismal 50-65,000 copies in its first week of release.

Exactly!! I tried to listen to it twice. It not that the themes are bad, the music is kinda boring. I want artists to stop letting Rico Love produce most of their album. And I don't wanna hear "Turn The Lights On" anymore.

Why am I not surprised? She was washed up musically after 2002. I felt bad her third album wasn't selling, but after that, I could hear why.
