Bruce Springsteen lovers know that the Boss is famous for delivering marathon concerts featuring unexpected song choices. Now there's an app available for the iPhone, the iPod Touch and the iPad with details on just about every concert Springsteen has played since 1971, with and without The E Street Band.

BRUCEfanatic features an expansive database of Springsteen set lists that's searchable by song, tour, date, venue and location.

The program also lets users access YouTube videos from specific shows, email set lists to friends and create playlists via their iTunes accounts featuring tunes the Boss performed at his various gigs.

The app also can generate statistics on how frequently Bruce played a particular tune live or where a song most commonly appears within a Springsteen concert.

BRUCEfanatic, which is officially sanctioned by Springsteen, can be purchased at the iTunes App Store for $4.99.

An app like this would whet Prince fans' appetite. But he's far too litigious in protecting his image and irrationally paranoid about new tech. This would never pass his litmus test of micromanagement.

That's why I asked if Sedaka was at least infomred of this app.

He's waiting until he's on his way into the Rock Hall.

The site looks plain amateurish and cluttered.
