So This Is All New To Me....

I NEVER EVER EVER EVER... Knew Dr. Dre was in the wrecking crew eek eek

Damn boy lol , I admit i still dig The chronic & think Dre is a good producer. But to this is example number 1 of hip hop mofos trying act hard when they are not shit lol

Maybe Dre should have stuck this route biggrin , i actually like some of there stuff.

I knew this and I don't listen to Dr. Dre. lol The song Turn Off The Lights used to get played on the local pop station in the late 1980's.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

And i have his album! i USED to be a big fan. And i had no idea lol until vainandy pointed it out..

I mean no i dig some of there songs, i guess it's just good to see this. So many people my age are all about this gangster image & u gotta be hardcore to be a man & Dr. Dre is one of those artists... people always think is this hardcore mofo who shoots people up for fun rolleyes

He's just a talented producer who just made Gangsta rap big, which i am sure everyone here already knew. But a lot of people still believe he was a real thug when he wasn't neutral he was singing rapped in romance lol

If they mixed Dre's hair grease & deep fried Jay-Z lips. That could feed at least 30 people lol

There was only a couple of real bro'as in the rap game, and mean real thugs not thugs by association. X-Raided, Ganksta-NIP, C-Murder, Mac and Soulja Slim are just a few.

This is mainly why West Coast rap wasn't taken seriously until Ice T and NWA.

Yeah...out West here we had trouble taking Dre seriously for the first segment of his career. It was this 12" in 1984 that I first remember him from:

The prancin around in a surgical outfit was a lil comical. By '85, his Dr. outfit was all white sequins disbelief

My main thing with this thread.... is. Well tbh i am getting FUCKING TIRED of hip hop: lol: i mean i will always love my public enemy, grandmaster flash, kool moh dee, NAS, Lauryn Hill, The Roots, De LA Soul, Masta Ace, etc

But the constant glamour of the thug life as i pointed out in my GD thread has gotten to a point... where it's just to fucking annoying: lol: , people taling like Dre, Snoop, Lil Wayne, Drake ahhh shit this go hard pause no homo. And now YOLO is the new thing? There’s a new fucking catchphrase every month from some rapper. People my age sag their pants, blast the music as if they’re preaching the gospel & acting boofenary in public.

I know half of these dingle berry anus rolls aren't as ''manly'' or ''BRUTAL'' as they make themselves out to be.
