Damn boy , I admit i still dig The chronic & think Dre is a good producer. But to this is example number 1 of hip hop mofos trying act hard when they are not shit

Maybe Dre should have stuck this route , i actually like some of there stuff.

if this trend really blew up and made him tons of $$$ and fame, would he have stayed and not go the "gangsta rap route????

I knew this and I don't listen to Dr. Dre. The song Turn Off The Lights used to get played on the local pop station in the late 1980's.

And i have his album! i USED to be a big fan. And i had no idea until vainandy pointed it out..

Yeah...out West here we had trouble taking Dre seriously for the first segment of his career. It was this 12" in 1984 that I first remember him from:
