My sister hipped me to Elle a few days ago. I don't listen to the radio much these days so I had no idea who she was. I really like what I'm hearing so far. Not just on record...the girl can actually sing and improvise live and play guitar and write her own songs. I've been playing catch up on YouTube; lots of interviews and live performances posted. I'm very impressed with this young lady. Hopefully she'll be able to stay in the game and remain true to herself. Can't wait for her to release some physical product (preferably vinyl).

I bought "Only Wanna Give it To You" on iTunes last fall. The follow-up track, "Refill", doesn't have the strength and failed to hold my attention.

I've been hearing her music lately and I like what I hear.

Did a little research too. She can play the flute and piano.

She's equally adept at guitar.

I like what I've heard so far.

I read about her in Elle magazine last year.

I caught the "Refill" vid the other night. She has a real sexy voice. But what caught my attention in the song was the violin/fiddle loop throughout. Very unique.
