Don't Call It A Comeback. Adele's '21' Heading Back to No. 1 for 24th Week

Adele's titanic-selling "21" album is looking likely to return to No. 1 on
the Billboard 200 chart for a 24th nonconsecutive week. While it's too early to
tell just how much it will sell by week's end on Sunday, April 15, a figure in
the range of 110,000 to 130,000 is possible.

If "21" returns to the top, it will mark the longest reign at No. 1
since Prince and the Revolution's "Purple Rain" soundtrack also spent 24 frames
at the top in 1984 and 1985. Additionally, "21" would become one of only eight
albums to rack six months atop the list.

"21" has now sold 8.64 million
copies in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan and ranks as the 33rd biggest
seller since the company began tracking sales in 1991. The largest-selling album
in the SoundScan era is Metallica's "Metallica," released in 1991, which has
moved 15.77 million.

In terms of albums that were released this week that are
looking to debut in the top 10 next week, a pair of titles may pop into the
region.

Monica's "New Life" and Bonnie Raitt's "Slipstream" are possible
contenders for the top 10, with sales starts somewhere in the range of 60,000
and 50,000, respectively. Other titles looking to impact high on the tally
include Prince Royce's "Phase II" and Counting Crows' "Underwater Sunshine."

I also didn't know that she sung this song until i saw this girl's band perform

Good for Adele.

This cd is far from a masterpiece, however, it's a solid album with some very well written songs on it and she sings them very well too. There are no gimmicks to her music and she's not getting by with her tits and ass or making so-called controversial statements or kissing girls one week and fucking boys the next. (like Rhianna, Britney etc, etc, - I could go on and on razz ).

I'm happy to see a young woman like her get this attention and ride the wave.
