Albums such as "Stories From The City...." and "Uh Huh Her" are probably as good a starting point as any. I guess they could be described as being a little easier to listen to than her earlier albums which were a bit harder, darker and a tad more experimental. Depends what you are into really. She does not have a best of collection which would be useful for new listeners. Really, any of her albums will reward you with quality.

I remembered their song "YOU CANT PLAY ME" from the early 90s but didnt know who sang it until recently. Just got the cd in the mail today from Amazon.com (Not bad for 1 cent)

They only did the one album which is maybe why they passed you by. I bought it because I've always liked the track Only One Woman (written by ze Gibb Bros.) and never had a copy of it. I didn't realise there were more Gibb songs on the album so that was a nice surprise. Good stuff. | |
