DMX Owes $1 MILLION In Back Child Support

DMX Owes $1 Million In Ba...To Europe!

DMX has been accused of owing more than $1 million in unpaid child support.

According to TMZ, Dark Man X’s ex Patricia Trejo filed the motion in L.A. Superior Court this past Thursday (Feb. 16th), though the rapper is not entirely convinced that he’s the father of her baby.

X was trying to get clearance from the court for permission to perform in Europe. Since Trejo filed the motion for payment, he may no longer be able to obtain the proper credentials to travel overseas.


You see, in paternity cases where significant child support is owed, the owing parent is prohibited from obtaining a passport without a court order -- and X wants a special dispensation.

The gravel-voiced emcee explained that he’s willing to fork over the money, but only if DNA tests prove that he’s the father.

DMX and his wife Tashera Simmons signed up to participate in VH1’s reality series �...es Therapy” and since the show began airing, the couples’ turbulent marriage has been put under the spotlight. After watching a recent episode Tashera Simmons admits that she was ‘speechless’ and ‘embarrassed’ by the way DMX speaks to her.

On this particular episode of “Couples Therapy” DMX engages in a heated argument with Dr. Jenn in regards to dealing with uncomfortable situations. Dr. Jenn points out that the rapper tends to simply walk away from people he doesn’t agree with and DMX responded by threatening the people around him.

“You got me surrounded by f---ing cameras and it’s not going to be pretty!” he exclaimed.
In an interview with The Jasmine Brand (via Vibe) Simmons expressed how she felt about the whole ordeal with her husband, saying, “… I was speechless watching when X cursed me the hell out,” she said.

“At that time, when it was happening, I was so busy worried about the lies he was making up, that I didn’t realize how he was talking to me. But actually watching it, I realized that I’ve been immune to that talk all of these years, and I realized that I was in a verbally abusive relationship. I was just shocked, and embarrassed.”

At this point I don't feel sorry for Tashera no more. She KNOW how her husband is. How did she now REALIZE their relationship was toxic and abusive (at least verbally)? Child boo.

Rapper DMX has only been out of jail for a few months, but it seems he can't escape the law. The hip-hop star is being sued by a booking agency he had allegedly hired to plan his European comeback tour. As fans know, that tour, which was slated to begin March 29 in Germany, has been cancelled.

Booking agency Heavy Rotation has since sued DMX in New York court. The DMX tour lawsuit accuses the artist of souring the deal by failing to stay out of legal trouble.

DMX, 41, allegedly gave Heavy Rotation the worldwide exclusive right to book his concerts, reports gossip website TMZ. But the agency was unable to capitalize on the deal because DMX couldn't stay out of court.

In August, DMX -- whose real name is Earl Simmons -- was arrested for reckless driving, and he's currently involved in two child support disputes. Because one of those disputes involves over $1 million in unpaid support, TMZ reports that a lien has been placed on DMX's passport, which means he can't go abroad.

The DMX tour lawsuit asserts that the booking agency paid off a number of these debts so the court would allow DMX to travel overseas. When the court refused, Heavy Rotation claims DMX went and hired another company that tried to book U.S. tour dates. This allegedly violated DMX's initial agreement with Heavy Rotation.

From the sound of things, Heavy Rotation has a decent chance of winning the DMX tour lawsuit. Every contract has an implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing. This is a promise not to do anything to interfere with the other party's rights under the contract. It seems DMX consistently interfered with the agreement even after the agency tried to fix his problems
