Toy Matinee "Last plane out"
Love the intro. The singer Kevin Gilbert sounds very american LOL (way he says "here" for example, hard to explain). I also keep thinking Patrick Leonard produced this but it wasn't, it was Bill Botrell.
I also keep thinking I can hear Bill Champlin on backing vox on the chorus. I checked my Cd, and he isn't listed (he use to do an awful lot of background vocal work). I know Iam crazy....
Great song, and a great talent in Kevin Gilbert. Heck he even worked with Michael Jackson (Bill Botrell connection), and his conceptual solo album, "the shaming of the true" is great too, though alot less commercial then Toy matinee.

Very nice album. "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

Sorry theAudience, I didn't see the thread.
Yeah, I really need to sit and listen and read the lyrics to "the taming of the shrew", and I just havn't got around to it yet (virtually all my music does not require a study of the lyric sheet, but this one does LOL).
Kevin makes for some interesting reading. Before my youtube account was closed, I posted a track he produced and played on for a late 80's pop duo called No Two. For years I had no idea he produced it, despite owning it LOL. I should up a few of their songs again as no one else has LOL. System assosiate Kris Kellow was in the group. Anyway the point was that Kevin got around and it's such a shame he died so young.
