Yea I love Whitney but this whole... remake an old black play or movie and tada you get a Oscar bit is VERY VERY tired. They talk as if its easy to get one. She looks like she did good but so far what Ive seen nothing close to Oscar worthy.

They did the same thing with Dreamgirls which probably has to be the most overrated movie ever invented in mankind.

Whitney was never that great of an actress, and honestly her poor acting skills are noticeable in the preview. It still looks like a good movie nonetheless. I doubt she'll get any award for her part. An Oscar is definately out of the question.

I saw Dreamgirls twice in theaters and thats only because my friend hadnt seen it. The first time I saw it.. I was like.... this was all the hoopla was about? Dont get me wrong it has its moments.... Eddie Murphy and J-Hud but overall that movie was not worthy of all those Oscar nods it got

I could live without seeing that movie again

I was actually just bored when i saw it idk it wasn't awful imo just.... boring and not that great.

And that seen where Jennifer sings your gonna love me it goes on.... and on....... and on....... and on....

It was so not needed to have like a 10 minute scene around her singing that damn song
