Gene Simmons new voice... WTF happened to him? i may be late on this but the KISS Klassics CD with Sonic Boom is a disaster with Genes new voice. Has he been emasculated?? Time to hang it up if he cant sing like we know he should... | |

Actually Gene's voice still sounds the same to me. Paul's voice sounds strained and weak. I know he's had voice sugery recently so we'll see. | |

It is mind boggling that this guy has made zillions of bucks and sustained a career for so long when lets face it musically KISS are pretty damn terrible! And the worst is his reality show.. My god it's SOOOOO BAAAAAD! Really obviously scripted and poorly acted and the most unfunny jokes ever  |

luvsexy4all...(sorry to bring this thread back up)..Just watched clips of KISS in N.O. from last night's show. Gene sounds like Pavoratti next to Paul (and I'm just being nice).
Paul's voice is gone and shot. I know he's 60 but his good vocal days are gone. That surgery really didn't do much.
They really need to hang it up. His voice isn't going to make it throughout a 2 month summer tour with Motley and then a new tour with the new CD. The band sounded tired and just plodded.
Glad I saw them back on the "Farewell Tour" in 2000. | |

....lol pauls voice i didnt bother to mention.....point is gene doesnt sing in that "harsh" voice anymore.....most likely he cant and also its more accessible if he ""cleans" up his voice for the new egghead fans | |
