They are the definition of an album band. You can't go too far wrong with any of their albums. Maybe just start at the beginning and go from there? They weren't quite there with the first album, maybe start with II.

You can always buy the definitive Led Zeppelin Box Set, like I did a few years ago. That way you are covered. What a musical ride you are in for, if you choose to do it. I wish more artists would do this.

I agree, you can't go wrong with many of there albums... starting from the begining and going on the ride is all worth it

I got into them with the Remasters sets. First the 2 disc then the 4 disc. The newer comp Mothership might have superseded it, I haven't heard it. I think II, III, IV and Houses of The Holy are all incredible albums. Physical Grafitti is great too but maybe not the logical place to start. Every album has something worth listening to for sure. They were an amazing band. Their Live DVD comp is essential as well.

I got this box when it came out and for some reason hardly ever played them. I think the cardboard sleeves for the discs annoyed the anal-retentive part of me.
